Thank you so much for your interest in being a vendor at the first show of the Mid-Atlantic Carnivorous Plant Society (MACPS)! Please feel free to contact us at info@macpsociety.com if you have any questions.

General Event Details

Become a 2025 vendor!

Vendor Policies

Set Up

Set up begins at 7 am and doors open to the public at 9 am. The event concludes at 5 pm. Tear down and load out must be completed by 7 pm.

Vendor Fee

The fee for the first 8’ table is $75. The early bird table rate will be $50. Each table comes with 2 chairs. Additional tables will be $50. Upon acceptance of this application, an invoice will be sent with the total cost. Payment must be received within 2 weeks of invoicing or the space will be forfeited.

No-Show

Reserved tables will be held until 8:30 am. If you are not present at your table by then, your spot will become available to any other vendor that wishes to rent them at the regular fee. No refunds will be given for no-shows.

Vendor Admission

Two free admissions to the show will be included with the first table. One admission will be given for each additional table.

Plant Material

Plant material offered for sale must be well-rooted (unless specifically noted as cuttings), disease-free, healthy, and in overall good condition.

Age Requirement

Vendors must have at least one seller above the age of 18.

Set-up & Clean-Up

Vendors are responsible for set up and clean-up of their space.

Permits and Taxes etc.

Vendors are responsible for securing and collecting any permits, licensing, taxes, and anything else required for business.

Vendor Behavior

All vendors and attendees will be expected to act in a professional manner. Angry outbursts, rude/disrespectful behavior, verbal threats, or physical violence will not be tolerated, and violators will be asked to leave.

Damage/Loss

MACPS will not be held responsible for accidents or loss of property by water, fire, theft, or otherwise, regardless of the cause or extent of damage/loss.

MACPS Rights

MACPS reserves the right to amend and/or add to these policies at any time.

Vendor Application

Please Note: Vendors should be primarily carnivorous plant focused (i.e. at least 80% of plants sold should be carnivorous). Applications from vendors selling non-carnivorous plants or non-plant items (e.g. arts/crafts) will be considered if there is space. Thank you.
