Thompson Park Day
11 am - 5 pm on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Thompson Park
805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738

The Monmouth County Park System graciously invited us to be a part of Thompson Park Day, a huge autumn festival with activities for people of all ages. As part of their Nature Tent, we showed over 5,000 visitors what carnivorous plants are really like. Early in the morning, visitors even got to witness a D. regia capture a yellow jacket! We had fun learning about butterfly metamorphosis and pond life from the other tables in the Nature Tent, and enjoyed participating in the other activities at this fantastic event!
